New England Impressions

Lencten, by David P. Curtis

David P. Curtis

The Guild is proud to present three of Cape Ann’s most well-known painters
during the month of November. David P. Curtis, Stapleton Kearns, and
T.M. Nicholas will show recent works of the Gloucester and Rockport area, as well as coastal scenes from Maine, and lush landscapes from New Hampshire
and Vermont. All three painters are adamant about painting from life because
they believe work produced on site gives the complete sense of light and depth of perception to make an outstanding piece. If a painting is done in the studio, it is done with several plein aire studies for reference.
All three artists whose work may be found in many private and corporate
collections nationwide are much sought after to teach classes and workshops all over the country. Click here to view the exhibition
Opening Reception – Nov 5, 3 – 5 PM, RSVP REQUIRED
