2013 Regional Painting Competition
The Guild of Boston Artists is a non-profit organization of painters and sculptors whose purpose is to promote, nurture and encourage traditional art adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Since its founding in 1914, the Guild has sought to provide a center for the interchange of ideas between artists and the community.
This is the eighth year that The Guild has sponsored a painting competition for non-member artists who paint in the realist
tradition. This year thirty five paintings were chosen from approximately two hundred entries by more than seventy artists.
The jurors are Ralph S. (Stoney) Jacobs, Fred MacNeill, and Peter Tysver.
Congratulations to all the artists who were selected for this year’s exhibition and those who won awards.
