David Williams-Bulkeley was born in the UK in 1973 and was educated at Eton. Having painted since a child, he started full time in 2000 exhibiting with the New English Art Club, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and was nominated for the Threadneedle Prize in 2010. He is a self taught artist whose work is driven by his observation of nature. He lives down the Charles River in Dedham with his young family. A frequent choice of jurors for the Annual Regional Exhibition, he won the bronze medal at the Guild’s centenary year show and this year is a newly elected member of the Guild.
